On Saturday, Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki expressed his dissatisfaction at the conduct of the Independent National Electoral Commission's ongoing elections to governorship within the state.

The governor said he expected better planning by the electoral commission.
Hoped INEC would be better prepared for this election. Before exercising my franchise, I waited for an hour and a half on the queue. It's a disappointing touch.
“Giving that this is often a sole day election, I expected better planning for this election. Card readers were very slow and that’s things everywhere.”
