Cleric Denies Using Thugs To Attack Lagos Community Residents, Calls For Investigation Into Matter

Pastor Femi Adebayo, founder of Endtime Heavenly Revival Ministries, has refuted claims that he used thugs to assault Ayobo group residents in Lagos.

The cleric while speaking with journalists on Monday said the allegations were false and aimed toward maligning his person and ministry.

While calling for a radical investigation into the matter, Adebayo said all those making the accusation against him must seek forgiveness from God.

"He said," Someone called to tell me on September 12 that there was a publication that accused me of sending hoodlums to the Ayobo neighborhood. I was surprised to listen to that.

“The allegation is completely false. I’ve never sent anybody to attack another human. I have no business at all with anyone in Ayobo, why do they make allegations against me that I sent thugs to assault people.

This is an attempt to tarnish my name, so the ministry of God has placed it in my possession.

"I urge the authorities to research this matter properly and make sure that whatever mystery is there's unravelled."

Adebayo added that he had asked his lawyer to require action if the media outfit that ran the report did not retract the story.
