THE Jigawa government has commenced sensitisation and training of heads of faculties and education managers on the private infections prevention techniques against the Covid-19 disease as schools prepare to resume lessons.
Speaking at the Manpower Development Institute in the Dutch capital, the State Commissioner for Education , Science and Technology declared the workshop knowledge and training, Lawal Yunusa Dazomo said,
"He added: "The government is committed to ensuring that teachers and students resume safe schools.
At the awareness-raising workshop organized by the Lafiya project of the Department for International Development (DFID) for all principals and education managers within the state, the commissioner assured them of the state's awareness the government’s support and cooperation to all or any developmental partners.

He explained that the government had procured enough personal protective equipment (PPE) for all the faculties as a part of the measures to stop infection and spreading of Covid-19 on the scholars , teachers and other members of staff.
The commissioner called on the principals and therefore the education managers attending the training to form excellent use of the chance .
While presenting his keynote speech , the representative of the Department for International Development (DFID), who is that the state’s team leader of the Lafiya programme within the state, Dr. Abdullahi Maiwada, said a complete of 180 senior secondary school’s principals and education managers participated within the training workshop.
