The meeting was the fourth virtual meeting because the nation complies with the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) protocol on COVID-19 pandemic.
From their respective states, the governors entered the virtual NEC.
At its last August virtual conference, NEC disclosed that President Muhmmadu Buhari had approved the sum of N13 billion for the implementation of community policing within the country.

It said the president’s gesture was borne out of his resolve to rejig the safety architecture within the country and deliver a simpler policing.
